Posing, Posing in the Distance; Posing, Posing With My Arm
730 Project - 12.15.11. Steff. At home. Nachos w/ a Caribbean twist: tortilla chips, topped with a jalapeno-bean spread, mango, and avocado.
I am thankful for yoga.
Mostly, because people have no idea the crazy poses I sometimes have to situate myself in just to get a good dinner shot. I'm sure they look effortless, and I look totally calm, cool, and collected but there are some nights where not only do I have to take a dozen shots before one looks good (things are out of focus, the food got cut off, it's too dark - this is what you get when you're using your BlackBerry as your camera), but I have to be a twisty-bobcat-pretzel just to get myself near enough to the food that we're both in the shot.
Take example tonight's photo . . . this is the ACTUAL shot before I resize it . . .
See the way the legs are bent?
That shit ain't easy.
So know that - while it infrequently looks like it - I work hard to deliver good shots nightly.
So there.
