We all do things in the privacy of our own homes that while we don't think twice about, others might find . . . well, weird.
For example (and this is me revealing something bizarre about myself) when I spill something on my counter, I immediately just bend down and lick it off. I don't see the point in wiping it with a dampened napkin or rag when my mouth can clean it just as well.
Tonight, a spot of jelly dripped onto my mom's counters. For a nanosecond I hesitated, quickly looking over my shoulder to see if she was watching, before leaning down to slurp it clean off.
"How'd the counter taste?" She asked.
"C'MON! YOU SAW THAT!?"
"No, but I could tell what you were doing by the way your body was bending," she responded, turning to look at me all sassy-like with that 'Mother's-know-everything-that-you-do-within-a-ten-foot-radius-of-them' look.
Meh, oh well. If she knows I do it, the rest of you oughta as well.
